Festi-BULL Part II — JCSU Homecoming Block Festival

Festi-BULL Part II is an all-day homecoming festival on The Block at Johnson C. Smith University, with food vendors, HBCU merchandise, DJs, alumni chapters, and Divine Nine organizations. Pop-up performances run throughout the day, filling the gap between the Homecoming Parade and Yardfest and drawing alumni, students, and community members from Charlotte's West Side. It functions as the midday anchor of JCSU Homecoming, a place where alumni, students, and the neighborhood gather before the game. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., overlapping with football kickoff, so attendees can move between The Block and Irwin Belk. It suits HBCU alumni, families, and anyone new to HBCU homecoming culture. Admission is free.
