Yardfest on the Ville — JCSU Homecoming

Yardfest on the Ville is the evening centerpiece of Johnson C. Smith University's Homecoming, held outdoors on the Humanities Lawn. The gathering brings DJ sets, student and alumni performances, and Divine Nine plot strolls together as the night cap to the day's Homecoming events, the point where strolls, reunions and aux battles all land. It runs from late afternoon into the night, building a campus-wide party atmosphere. The setting suits students, young alumni, and Divine Nine members and affiliates. Since it runs from 3 to 10 p.m. outdoors, attendees should bring a chair or blanket, and should be prepared for bag checks at entry.
